What we source
We source a broad range: stainless cookware and pots, kitchen utensils and silicone bakeware, storage containers and plastic tubs, cutting boards, melamine and ceramic tableware, drinking glasses and cutlery.
We also handle small kitchen appliances such as kettles, hand mixers and coffee accessories, mostly from Zhongshan, plus organisation and cleaning items, storage and decor from the vast supply in Yiwu.
Ceramics and porcelain come from Chaozhou, the country's largest ceramics cluster, while stainless goods and small appliances centre on Foshan and the Pearl River Delta.
What matters most
Anything that contacts food is subject to EU framework regulation 1935/2004, and in Germany to the LFGB. For plastics, regulation EU 10/2011 adds migration limits. We require product-specific migration testing, not generic cover-sheet certificates.
For ceramics and glass, lead and cadmium release are the critical points, especially on colour-glazed inner surfaces. Stainless must be food grade (typically 18/8, i.e. 304), and coated pans must not release non-compliant PFAS.
Breakage and transport resilience are a category of their own here. We review packaging design and drop testing, because ceramics and glass without robust inner packing produce container breakage rates that erode any margin.
How we source
We choose the cluster by material rather than ordering everything from one generalist. Ceramics from ceramic specialists, stainless from metalworkers, which secures expertise and better pricing.
Before the run we have samples tested for food contact and document the results. In production we check dimensions, surfaces, seal integrity and function by AQL, and for fragile goods we add drop tests of the packed item.
We consolidate mixed assortments from different factories into one container and optimise cubic volume, because homeware is often volume-limited rather than weight-limited.

- For standard items MOQs usually sit between 500 and 2,000 units. Through Yiwu, small goods are sometimes available from 100 units, though with less customisation. Custom silicone or plastic moulds raise the quantity substantially.
- How do you handle breakage on glass and ceramics?
- We specify the inner packaging, run drop tests on the packed unit and verify the packing method at final inspection. That brings sea-freight breakage down to a predictable level.
